Santa's Sleigh and Reindeer

One of my favorite memories of the Christmas Holiday season when I was a kid living in Orofino was Santa's sleigh and reindeer that hung off cables at what I believe was Hap Peterson's home. If you went up Britan Hill to Kalaspo there was a big log house. Dr. Pappenhagen lived next door.

Another good memory I have of Hap Peterson, I believe that was his name. He was the manager of B.J. Carney pole if my memory is correct. When Halloween came he passed out nickel candy bars which were a great thing back in the day. Just thinking, 3 days ago - 54 years ago I left the city of fine gold! Where does time go! I have memories of Christmas in Boise as my Dad was raised in Boise and we would go visit our Grandparents for Christmas.
