The Christmas Tree

I see Christmas trees everywhere, through frosted windows through the coldest nights. Families smile so joyful and bright, gazing at their presents in sheer delight.

Trees come and go throughout the ages, but what people don't know is when, you throw them out where do they go? It's a mystery to me, so where do they flee. Could they have gone to the North Pole? Where winter lasts forever. Waiting to be picked to be the next Christmas tree. But what do they do on their free time? Do they boogie down with the elves? Do they dress up and dance a tree gala? Do they hang out with Santa in his workshop where it is warm, or maybe they take a quick snore? This will forever remain a mystery throughout all of history. No one shall know where the Christmas trees go, or whether they like to play in snow. Maybe they like to sip hot cocoa, with a fire that melts the snow. No one shall know where the Christmas tree goes only they know where and when to go.
