Grateful

One bright morning day the birds were singing like it was May. The feeling of brightness filled your head; the wind was blowing quietly, when you were asleep in your bed. You get up as you see the bright lights hanging on the tree limbs. You sneak a peek of all the delight that are hidden under the green spiky branches. You eagerly wake your parents as they rush to your coming. They say, "Hello how are you honey!"

You jump with excitement waiting for your brother. He comes down the hall without a care, sits down on the couch looking very square. He looks at the presents under the tree. Than they all say open them, and I go yippy! As I unwrap the delight I see the package that's underneath, it looks like it's expensive, let's take a peak. When you open the package you find something magnificent. A brand new Wii plus a TV. You are so thankful for your gifts, with that you sit down and watch. You see faces lighting up like the sun, then you laugh as you think, this is fun! Later on you sit by the fire all warm and snuggly. Drinking your hot cup of cocoa as you look out the window you see bright white flakes coming down on the light silver colored ground. You look at the beautiful sight, and you think in your mind everyone should not only be thankful for family, but this beautiful sight, and if you are not, than you are clearly blind for family is more important than anything that comes with a set of games or a remote.
