Daryan

Age: 9

"I'm nine years old and I love to read. I'm in the fourth grade. I like to spend time outside in the garden, and I like to ride my bike. I also like to camp and I like to swim. I also like to fish, but I don't like to touch the worms or the fish."

Daryan is described as "all girl" and loves to go shopping and likes to dress up. She loves to be active, but also enjoys relaxing and enjoying a good book. She is very helpful and loves to help her foster mother in the kitchen.

Daryan needs adoptive parents who can provide her with structure and consistency and who can be patient with her as she moves into her teen years. She will do best in a family who can help her learn to express her feelings and emotions appropriately. Daryan will benefit from having older siblings who can model normal sibling relationships for her. She has two siblings, an older brother and a younger sister, with whom she needs to maintain contact after her adoption.
