Editor's Note: Window on the Clearwater has joined the Wednesday's Child network to help spread the word about children that are waiting for families to give them the loving care that they need. Each Wednesday we will profile a different child. For more information about Wednesday's Child and how you can be involved check the web site at: http://www.idahowednesdayschild.org/.

William

Age: 8

Profile and portrait provided by A Family For Every Child.

William is a handsome boy with laughing brown eyes, curly hair, and a cute smile. William is tall for his age and slender. He is active and is always ready to run and play. William likes to play with toy cars and trucks and he enjoys anything that is squishy and slimy. He has been able to ride a bike since he was 4 and he enjoys going for bike rides. He likes TV, movies, and video games. William loves anything to do with dinosaurs.

William does well with animals and is very close to the dog in his foster home. He enjoys playing with children, although he does best with younger children.

William is attached to his current foster parents, but was slow to attach. He will need caretakers that are patient to his adjustment and supportive of his special needs. William sees his sister regularly and they get along well. Like most siblings, they have fun together, but also know how to push each other's buttons. William and his sister are attached and although they are being adopted separately, they would benefit from being able to maintain a relationship.

William is a delightful boy with a lot to give the right family. He needs caretakers that are supportive, emotionally even, and patient with his needs. William is currently the only child in his foster home, but has lived with other children in that home in the past. William does fine with other children in the home and enjoys having playmates around.

He would love a family that is active and shares his love of outdoor activities, and is ready to give him the attention he needs.

William is available for adoption through the State of Oregon. To find out more about William, adoption or becoming a foster parent, email the Idaho CareLine or call 1-800-926-2588. In Idaho you can dial 2-1-1.
