Editor's Note: Window on the Clearwater has joined the Wednesday's Child network to help spread the word about children that are waiting for families to give them the loving care that they need. Each Wednesday we will profile a different child. For more information about Wednesday's Child and how you can be involved check the web site at: http://www.idahowednesdayschild.org/.

Justin

Age: 12

"My name is Justin. I love to play X-Box, and I'm really good at it. I'm in Scouts, and I like to do things outside like camping and swimming. I like riding my bike and playing games with my friends. I like to draw pictures with gel pens and with colored pencils.

I want to be in a family that has a lot of energy and likes to do things outside. I think it would be great to have my own room. I would do chores at home to earn extra money so I could buy new cars at the toy store. I love animals and would like to have a cat or a bird someday."

Justin is an energetic boy who's a delight to be around. He has a vivid imagination and likes to express that in art projects.

Justin has a unique quality in that he gives deep thought to many subjects most kids his age don't think about. He has quite a philosophical outlook on life and often asks questions that require some thought before answering.

When Justin knows what's happening next and feels safe, his anxiety subsides. With the altruistic interest of a well-grounded parent, this teenager could find the comfort zone he needs in his family life.

Justin would do well with someone who operates on an even keel in most situations. As a perfectionist who gets frustrated with himself, Justin needs a parent who will encourage him to tap into his natural intelligence and academic abilities.

Justin's adoption team will be looking for a single parent or couple with experience and willingness to access professional resources. He's made great progress so far. A savvy parent could help him build on that progress.

Justin has a brother and a sister. Each sibling has expressed a desire for his or her own separate family but with continued contact between families.
