Orofino High School's student publication from the 1930s through at least 1966 was called the Hi-Spot. The students were learning and practicing the art and profession of journalism through this publication that included such things as news articles, sports, advertising, comics and etc.

The Clearwater Historical Museum has a collection of the papers, some professionally printed and some mimeographed. They go from the 1930s to 1966. They were donated to the museum after being found as people were clearing out Orofino Junior High School after it was closed a few years ago.
