Monday: 1902 Tuesday: People thought it was too big Wednesday: It cost about $1,200. Thursday: It had two stories. Friday: It became too small in one year. Saturday: Was built behind what is now the Odd Fellows Hall Monday: The three rooms accommodated pupils for five years. Tuesday: Another teacher was hired for the third room. Wednesday: Nothing is left except photos. Thursday: It was a frame building. Friday: It had a bell up on a stand. Saturday: The space is now a parking lot. During the year 1902 a two-story frame building was erected behind what is now the IOOF Hall. It cost about $1,200 for the construction. Some people thought it was far too large and would not be filled for several years. However, it became too small in one year and another room was added next to the building.
