Orofino Meat and Cold Storage moved to new quarters on Johnson Ave. in Orofino in March of 1926. The new location was where Johnson Jewelery is now. They had been on the south side of Orofino Creek for 20 years. The new location had a partial basement and refrigerator plant where people could rent cold storage lockers. It was flanked by Orofino Auto Company and Ericson's House of Sweets at one point. The business, owned by Fred W and LL Luttrop, was there for several decades.
