Orofino's Business and Professional Women (BPW) Club held their first meeting April 11, 1930. They were sponsored by the Moscow club and first officers were Ethel Honeywell, president; Sarah Lindgren, vice president; Borghill Hoff, secretary; and Helen McCarthy, treasurer. There were 28 charter members. In 1969-70, Lois Brock of Orofino was elected state president for the Idaho Federation of the club. Objectives of BPW:
