Cris Erbst is the winner! Orofino Community Theater is the answer for Week 157 of Orofino History Trivia a special feature to celebrate the history and heritage of Clearwater Country. Monday: "Vanities" Tuesday: John Swayne, Carla Laws, Joanne Hutchinson Wednesday: Givens Hall From 1981 to 1988, the Orofino Community Theatre prepared performanceof various plays for the community. Most of the productions were in the old Givens Hall theater before the Idaho Correctional Institution-Orofino took over the space. The theater was built with Givens Hall and had a stage and special theater seats. When the prison took over the area in Givens Hall that included the theater, the performances were held a few times in other locations, but soon ceased. Orofino Community Theater performed plays like "Vanities", "Barefoot in the Park", "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" and "Three Hisses for Villainy". The entertainers included names still well known in the community for their talents in performing such as Joanne Hutchinson, Susan Petree (Larson), Larry Sharrai, Ted Leach, John Swayne, Carla Laws, Geri Lemmon, Karen Bird Goodwin and Carole Terherst.
