Weippe man arrested on drug charges

On March 2, at about 5 p.m., Clearwater County Deputies, assisted by an Idaho Fish and Game officer executed a search warrant for illegal narcotics at 38 Tater Ln., Weippe.

According to CCSO numerous items were seized including: methamphetamine, scales, packaging for distribution of illegal narcotics and a stolen firearm.

One of the occupants of the residence, Brian Crooks, 57, is being held at the Clearwater County Jail. The charges are Possession of Schedule II Substance and Drug Trafficking in Precursors Meth, according to the CCSO Sheriff's app.
