The Forgotten Fairy There was once a girl, but not a simple girl, a fairy. She lives in a small cove off the coast of Neverland, with a small family of fairies consisting of n about 100. Her name you ask? Her name was like a wonderful song stuck in your head, Melody. She lived with her best friend Isabelle, Isabelle was a quiet one compared to Melody. One day Melody, and Isabelle were on there way to help decorate the Christmas extravaganza. Twas the day before Thanksgiving. They were going to set up the Ice skating rink and the snack shack. It was midnight by the time they got done, and Melody decided to go on a walk. She knew she'd better hurry since at 1:00 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving they locked the doors to the city until it was Valentine's day to let people go on Long walks on the beach. She was walking across an abandoned ship until she went to go onto the plank like she always did, and she got stuck, someone had spelled it. She was more in a hurry because she was going to get Christmas presents for the less fortunate fairies. She met a man that she battled many times, she didn't wait to just talk to him, she just attacked. Finally, she won the war. He was badly wounded so she stayed and helped him heal so she could ask about why he was doing these things. When he regained consciousness, he was able to explain that he had a donation of 50 presents, and the only way to contact this very busy girl was by trapping her though he was very sorry, she was worried about trying to get back to the cove to give the children their presents, but the man explained he was the mayor and had the key to the city, when they got back the present foundation had doubled, not only in finds but in presents too! Each child had a wonderful Christmas for the first time in forever, and Melody, she was the happiest fairy alive. By Emma Province Reprinted from our archives
