Crews are still working on the leak. City Administrator Ryan Smathers expressed, "Huge appreciation for Shane, Luke, Robert, Michael, Jim and Rick! Much better places to be on a Friday night"

Orofino's Johnson Ave. closed at the top from Holzhey to 4th

Orofino's Johnson Ave. is closed near the top from Holzhey to 4th due to damage to the roadway from a water leak.

Orofino City crews responded to the area as water poured down Johnson across to Main overwhelming the storm drains until crews could get the water turned off.

Motorists need to find alternate route.
