Clearwater County COVID case counts down by one compared to previous two week period by Nancy C. Butler COVID-19 case numbers are down by one the last few weeks, Nov. 16-Dec. 1, compared to the previous period, Nov. 2-Nov. 15 in Clearwater County and down nearly 25% in Public Health District 2 (Clearwater, Lewis, Idaho, Latah and Nez Perce counties). Unfortunately, in Clearwater County there was one death during the period, a man in his 50s. In Clearwater County, there were a total of 36 cases, 21 male and 15 female, with one death. The previous time period, Nov. 2 to Nov. 15 had 37 cases with 19 male and 18 female with no deaths in the period. By age group the statistics read:
Clearwater County's vaccination rate is now at 43.05%, which accounts for residents 12 years old and older that have had at least one dose of a vaccine by Dec. 1. In Public Health District 2 from to Nov. 16-Dec. 1, there were 301 cases, 147 male and 154 female, from to Nov. 2-15, there were 395 cases, 210 male and 184 female There was one deaths from Nov. 16-Dec. 1.
