COVID case counts similar to previous two week period by Nancy C. Butler COVID-19 case numbers are similar during the last few weeks, Oct. 15-Nov. 1, compared to the previous period, Oct. 4 to Oct. 15 in both Clearwater County and Public Health District 2 (Clearwater, Lewis, Idaho, Latah and Nez Perce counties). There were a total of 32 cases, 13 male and 19 female, with no deaths. The previous time period, Oct. 4 to Oct. 15 had 31 cases with 16 male and 15 female with no deaths in the period. By age group the statistics read:
Clearwater County's vaccination rate is now at 41.97%, which accounts for residents 12 years old and older that have had at least one dose of a vaccine by Nov. 1. In Public Health District 2 from Oct. 15 to Nov. 1, there were 636 cases, 297 male and 339 female, compared to 648 from Oct. 15 to Nov. 1. There were 7 deaths from Oct. 15 to Nov. 1 and 4 from Oct 4 to Oct 15. Vaccination rate in the district is 48.96% Here are the district numbers by age group from Oct. 4-15:
