Clearwater County COVID case counts up slightly compared to previous two week period by Nancy C. Butler COVID-19 case numbers are up slightly the last few weeks, Nov. 2-15, compared to the previous period, Oct. 15-Nov. 1 in Clearwater County, but way down Public Health District 2 (Clearwater, Lewis, Idaho, Latah and Nez Perce counties). There were a total of 37 cases, 19 male and 18 female, with no deaths. The previous time period, Oct. 4 to Oct. 15 had 32 cases with 13 male and 19 female with no deaths in the period. By age group the statistics read:
Clearwater County's vaccination rate is now at 42.49%, which accounts for residents 12 years old and older that have had at least one dose of a vaccine by Nov. 15. In Public Health District 2 from to Nov. 2-15, there were 395 cases, 210 male and 184 female, compared to 636 from Oct. 15 to Nov. 1 There were no deaths from Nov. 2-15 and 7 from Oct. 15 to Nov. 1.
