Some VFW and Auxiliary events cancelled, postponed

Due to Idaho's continued partial shut-down for the COVID-19 pandemic, some Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3295 and Auxiliary events are still being cancelled or postponed until a later date.

The bar will reopen May 30. The VFW office opens at 7 a.m. with limited hours Monday through Friday.

Flags will go up at Riverside and Weseman cemeteries May 22 at 7 a.m. for Memorial Day Weekend and come down May 26 at 5 p.m., if it is not raining.

All VFW Post Memorial Day ceremonies that would have been May 25 have been cancelled and the Quilts of Valor presentation has been postponed until further notice.

June 2 there will be a special presentation of a 75-year VFW membership plaque to Earl Beck.
