Jazz Creek rises on Clarks Mountain in the south central part of Clearwater County. Its spring white water runs over boulders strewn there over the years making a sound that prompted people to say it was 'jazzing along'. It drops 50 feet over Orogrande Creek. It was named by W.O. Clover of the US Forest Service.
