US 95 closed at mile post 188 south of Riggins due to a major rock fall

U.S. Highway 95 between mile posts 186and 199 is closed due to a major rock fall at mile post 188 south of Riggins.

According to Idaho County Sheriff's Office, this a very large rock slide and area will be closed until Idaho Transportation Department has a chance to get it cleaned up.

There is no estimate for time for opening. There is no close detour since Old Pollock Rd. is also closed. Watch for updates.
