CDC, Surgeon General now advise wearing face masks in public
Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)and U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams have changed their guidance about wearing face masks in public.
The new guidance indicates people should wear cloth (not medical grade) masks while visiting places where it's difficult to stay away from others, including grocery stores and pharmacies.
The masks are not a replacement for social distancing guidelines. More information is available at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover.html.
