Corps closing all Walla Walla District Visitor Centers

WALLA WALLA, WA -At this time, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close all Visitor Centers in the Walla Walla District.

This includes the Visitor Centers at Dworshak Dam, McNary Dam, Ice Harbor Dam and Lower Granite Dam. These closures are necessary to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Tours of the dams will also be suspended.

This closure will be temporary and will be reevaluated in April. Those with questions can reach out to the Walla Walla District's Recreation office at 509-527-7132.

The Lower Granite Natural Resource Management (NRM) staff will be restricting access to their office in Clarkston, WA, in response to the COVID-19 situation.

Access to public walk-in service at the Clarkston NRM office will be restricted. However, NRM staff will still be working and will be available by telephone for routine business and any questions normally addressed at 509-751-0240. The Clarkston office will still be accepting deliveries and staff will remain available for any emergency situations for the visiting public.
