Monday: SNOTEL Tuesday: Since 1984 Wednesday: Glacial action Thursday: Just under 6,000 feet Friday: Confusing shape Saturday: Site #425 Crater Meadows is at elevation 5960 feet on the Clearwater National Forest is a SNOTEL site (#425). The area is about six miles from the Weitas Guard Station off Forest Service Road 555. It can be reached by hiking or ATV. The meadows are in a basin formed by glacial action.
