Edmond Jacob and Aramesia (Bullock) Weseman came to Orofino about 1900. He was a freighter and rancher. They were some of the early pioneers in the area who raised five children and a foster son.

The couple is buried at Weseman Cemetery off Grangemont Rd. They donated the land for the cemetery in about 1920. He died in 1925 and she died at 88 years old in 1946.
