He shared his memories of the area with an interviewer and typed copy is housed at the Clearwater Historical Museum in Orofino. Marquette worked as a lineman for the U.S. Forest Service and later at a number of mills as a lumber grader. He left the area with his family in about 1973 and died in Lincoln City, OR in August 1985. Sponsored by:
