The Orofino Bridge across the Clearwater River is the answer for Week 455 of Orofino History Trivia a special feature to celebrate the history and heritage of Clearwater Country. Join in the discovery! Monday: Steel Tuesday: Built to last decades Wedesday: A landmark The second Orofino Bridge across the Clearwater River was built in 1938 and stood until it was replaced by the current bridge in 1999. The landmark had a steel overhead frame that was common to bridges of the time. It also sported a lighted 'Orofino' sign on each side. One of those signs is now at the Clearwater Historical Museum.
