Join in the discovery! Monday: JR Hughes, BJ Kinne and several other men Tuesday: 1930s Wednesday: Had their own facility Thursday: They held regular competitions. Friday: There were individual and team scores from the competitions. Saturday: In a Spokesman Review tournament, they won over Pasco, tied with Pullman and lost to Pateros. Monday: They won over Metaline Fall-Ione, tied Lewiston-Pomeroy and lost to Moscow in March 1928. Tuesday: President J.R. Hughes expected a 'bang up' time at the second annual tournament sponsored by the local club at their facility. According to articles in the Clearwater Tribune of the 1920s and 1930s the Orofino Gun Club was very active and participated in regular competitions with other clubs throughout the region. They had their own facility and hosted an annual tournament. Among those involved with the club at that time were John Oud, MP Strecker, Britan, George and Sumner Stonebraker, Swantek, Seiffert, S. Snyder, Wilcox, Robinson, Truckositz, Richardson, Chilton, Portfors, Kissinger, Walrath, Jordan, Schneider, Hank Hallam, Bryant, Sewell, Rider, Fairly, Morrison, Funke, Guerin, Hodgson, Wohlen, Johnson, Gaffney, Rider, Ross, Crawford, Atherton. Some of the members' were identified only by their initials and last names as was common at the time and with some only last names were in the articles.
